The Old School House - Cawsand & Kingsand
We are delighted that No.3 The Old School House has be feature in Coast magazine - Top 10 places to stay in Cornwall.
Follow us on Instagram for any late availability and 2022 opening #oldschoolhousecornwall
Positioned in the heart of this beautiful Cornish former fishing village of Cawsand in a frontline waterfront setting overlooking Kingsand beach, No.3 The Old School House is a newly renovated house with superb sea views ideal for both romantic escapes and family holidays. Amazingly, Cawsand and the adjoining village of Kingsand were once officially in different counties; one house near the Post Office still marks where the boundary lay. Nowadays both are firmly in Cornwall, nestled into what is affectionally called "the forgotten corner of Cornwall"
"Delightful, No.3 The Old School House is generously proportioned house enjoying an enviable seafront position in the heart of a quaint Cornish Village. We loved having 3 beaches and 4 nice food serving pubs within 1-4 minutes walk, yet not so close as to be a disturbance. Our group had a fantastic week and will be rebooking” G&A Woods -July 2020
No.3 The Old School House is at the heart of the village - where colour washed cottages line the maze of narrow streets and where you will find quaint shops, art galleries and friendly pubs. Right on the coastal path - you can walk for miles along the coast and enjoy some of the most unspoilt views that Cornwall has to offer. For the more energetic Whitsand Bay is just over 5 miles away along the South West Coast Path. Or leave the car behind and enjoy a day of city life, catching the Cawsand Ferry from the beach and enjoy a ride on the water before reaching Plymouth and its fantastic array of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. The ferry runs from Easter until the last Sunday in October.
The house is made for families and friends to enjoy - what ever the weather. Spread over 4 floors there is plenty of room for everyone. On the beach level there is an open plan living space with kitchen, dining area and spectacular panoramic views over Kingsand Bay.
